For more than 20 years, Trimmers Landscaping has been on the leading edge of irrigation installation services.
When it comes to holistic landscape management, water is the connection to a healthy, growing landscape – whether trees or turf. An accurate watering schedule helps landscape plants avoid drought stress and disease. Healthier plants also naturally resist insect attacks and reduce the need for chemicals to control them.
The new lawn irrigation products today are so much better – in terms of technology and water conservation – than they were 20 years ago.
Water smart irrigation design. An efficient irrigation system begins with a plan. During a site consultation, we will consider your yard’s micro-climate: full sun vs. shady areas, condition of your turf grass, location of trees and shrubs. We also check the pressure and flow rate. If you are on a private well, it’s important to determine your well’s capacity to water the lawn and landscape sufficiently before designing a system. This information is shared with our irrigation maintenance division, who will ensure that your system is properly calibrated throughout the season.
Cool tools and technology. Back in the day, about the only water conservation technology were rain sensors. Today, a water smart irrigation design involves not only rain sensors, but irrigation heads that reduce overspray; dedicated drip irrigation for trees, shrubs and flowers; and WiFi-based irrigation controllers that will detect any leaks in the system, automatically schedule watering times based on the season, and allow remote access from any laptop or device. These controllers are a key part of our irrigation management program.
At Trimmers Landscaping, we are more than just an irrigation installer. We not only design the most efficient system possible, we partner with you so you will have the healthiest landscape possible as well!
