- Ability to read plans. Almost all commercial planting projects are bid-takeoffs on landscape plans drawn up by landscape architects. At Trimmers, we have an in-house landscape architect. Our installation foremen are trained to install plantings based on the architect’s intent.
- Plant sourcing. We have good partnerships with our nursery suppliers; ensuring quality, zone-hardy plant material is going in the ground. We are able to source any size plant, and make suitable substitutions on-the-fly if needed. A direct-ship option with our suppliers enables us to cut costs where it’s important – in delivery, not in quality.
- Complete landscape services. Planting is more than digging a hole and putting a plant in the ground. Landscape architect spec depth of mulch, tree staking and sometimes irrigation. Trimmers Landscaping provides more than a planting crew; we have options for site grading, trucking and hauling services, mulching, hydroseeding, soil amendments and temporary or permanent irrigation solutions. We can even provide a professional landscape plan if there is none.
