It’s never too early to start planning your landscape project! Perhaps last summer got away from you and you never got around to installing that patio, creating a landscape design or making long overdue improvements to your yard. What better way is there to make winter seem shorter than to plan out your dream landscape now? Sometimes winter can seem so long in New Hampshire, but our landscape company is already gearing up for next spring.
Landscape Design/Build projects. There is significant planning involved with a landscape design and installation project. In the idea phase, concepts are mapped out and quick sketches drawn up. In the development phase, these sketches are modified to the clients taste and from that, a scaled landscape drawing can be developed. The design phase of the landscaping project can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks – or even longer on a commercial landscape design project.
From that scaled drawing, a bid proposal can be presented. From that bid proposal, changes can be made for budgetary reasons. That brings in the third phase of planning a landscape design – prioritizing the landscape construction project into phases that can be completed as the budget allows. The budgeting proposal process can take anywhere from two days to two weeks.
“You want it done when?” Once a final proposal is approved, the landscape construction project can be scheduled. It’s no surprise that when springtime comes, landscaping companies are very busy. In order to schedule your landscape construction project, keep in mind that very often sizable landscaping projects cannot be scheduled sooner than six weeks out – sometimes as much as three or four months. Much of what we are working on over the winter is landscape project planning on landscape construction projects from last fall.
Sooner rather than later. The good news is, at Trimmers Landscaping, we are an established full-service landscape company in southern New Hampshire – we have our systems and our team down to a science. If there’s any way possible to schedule you sooner rather than later, we will do it. So remember that snow is only frozen water – and spring always comes on time. We are here working. Come on down to our Londonderry office and let’s discuss your landscaping project today!
